Start the journey through music.

Alicia Hubbard, MT-BC

Owner, Board Certified Music Therapist

I am Alicia Hubbard, board certified music therapist.

several I graduated from Nazareth College with a B.M. in Music Therapy. I completed a 10-month internship at Monroe #1 BOCES in Fairport, NY. While at Nazareth College, I learned piano, guitar, mandolin, ukulele and a variety of percussive instruments. I was honored to receive the “Excellence in Music Therapy” award from faculty and have also been honored to present at several Music Therapy Conferences. I am extremely passionate about encouraging other music therapists to start their own private practices to allow more access to music therapy services across the US (especially in rural communities). I have spent the last several years being a business owner as well as providing services in schools, long-term care, assisted living programs, day programs, group homes and individually with community members. I have also partnered with Music Therapy Ed to provide a 10 CMTE credit course on music therapy private practice in rural communities. I also recently completed a 26-credit hour course on music therapy in post partum. After a wild post partum journey myself, I am hopeful to help other families through this huge life transition and help them bond with each other as a grown family.
